Shadow Woods Reunion Campout 2026 Announces Dates, Location, and Full Weekend Lineup

Great Cacapon, WV — The Shadow Woods Reunion Campout returns in 2026 for a three‑day gathering of music, community, and outdoor adventure. The event will take place Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27, at Stoney Creek Campground, located at 72 Stoney Creek Rd, Great Cacapon, WV 25422 (nearest to Largent, WV).

The reunion campout is much smaller than the beloved Shadow Woods Metal Fest, which ended in 2021. Space is limited, and camping areas are already filling quickly. All attendees must register and submit payment by 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026. No gate‑entry sales will be offered; advance registration is required.

A Weekend of Music, Nature, and Community

The Shadow Woods Reunion Campout continues the tradition of bringing underground heavy music into the forest, offering an intimate, immersive experience unlike any other. This year’s lineup features a diverse roster of Shadow Woods alumni and new additions:

  • All Hell – Appalachian blackened thrash returning with the ferocity of their acclaimed album Sunsetter.
  • Faith in Jane – Maryland’s best‑kept secret in heavy rock, celebrated for electrifying live performances.
  • High Noon Kahuna – A Frederick, MD, trio forging their own genre‑blending sonic identity.
  • Erik Sugg & Thee Old Night – Haunting dark Americana shaped by acoustic textures and simmering psychedelia.
  • Archael – Aggressive, melodic, atmospheric metal from Fredericksburg, VA.
  • Cemetery Echo – Buffalo’s “Haunt’n Roll” conjurers blending death rock, black metal, and gothic post‑punk.
  • Akris – Virginia sludge/stoner duo known for deep bass, minimalism, and atmospheric heaviness.
  • Cultic – Dungeon metal storytellers from Pennsylvania, continuing their fantasy‑driven narrative with Lore (2025).
